No Vodka Hangover With Sky?

Yes the title says it all.  Imagine a no vodka hangover after consuming many glasses of vodka throughout the night…   You are probably thinking, “ya right!”   If you didn’t know, Sky Vodka actually claims to have a vodka so pure it doesn’t cause hangovers when you drink it.  Below is an article written by Robert Capps and he actually does a study to find out if this is true or false.

Cure Hangover?

Everybody is looking for something to ”cure hangovers.”  The problem is the word “cure” is a medical term.

2. To effect a recovery from a disease or disorder.

No products can cure because you need to be a drug to be able to cure.

This was actually a great little video MSNBC.com put on.  They conducted an interview with Rally Bartending School in North Carolina. 

Did you know what the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration states would take to reach the 0.8% alcohol blood level?

-Men at 170 pounds would have 4 alcoholic drinks in 1 hour to go over.
-Female’s at 137 pounds would have 3 alcoholic drinks in 1 hour to go over. 

Did you know that 8% of alcohol is absorbed in your mouth?

The foods to stay away from are starches and carbohydrates because they help speed the absorption.  Another note is never go an drink on an empty stomach this also assists in hangovers.  The best foods to eat while drinking are proteins and fats.

In fact, 80% of beer consumed is made by five companies; Anheuser-Busch (Budweiser), Coors, G. Heilman (Henry Weinhard), Miller and Pabst.
