Dave, the creator and driving force behind TailgatingIdeas.com, had some comments on the hangover patch.

“I undertook with the Zaca Hangover Patch, I’ll cut to the chase: It worked. The first patch worked so well I decided to test it again, this time with more drinks than the original test. Same result. Little to no hangover at all.”

You’ll have to read the rest of his review at TailgaitingIdeas.com, you’ll get a kick out of it.   Not to mention he’s got a very unique blog, and great ideas for the next time you go tailgaiting!

Need to warm up? Have a HOT winter drink!

If the weather near you is anything near Denver’s right now, you’re probably freezing!  It’s a great time to hit the mountains and go skiing and snowboarding, and it’s a great time to have a nice HOT drink!

We wanted to help you warm up by giving you a drink recipe.  If you’re going to be drinking, try some Spiced Cider.  Read below for the recipe.  Enjoy!

  • 6 oz Calvados or other apple brandy
  • 2 broken cinnamon sticks
  • 1 quart (4 cups) apple cider
  • 1 Tbsp whole allspice
  • 6 cinnamon sticks (for garnish

Instructions (serves 6)

Put broken allspice and cinnamon sticks in a cheesecloth bag.   Then put it in a saucepan with apple cider and heat gradually until steaming (do not boil).  Pour 1 oz of apple brandy into each mug.  Fill each mug with the apple cider and stir with a whole cinnamon stick.  And serve immediately.
