<p>Everyone knows how vitamin C is an antioxidant?  So what it does is it helps to fight free radicals in your body.  The reason why you need vitamin C while drinking is because alcohol metabolizes and then your body detoxifies itself releasing free radicals.  Vitamin C may also work on headaches and pain because it inhibits prostaglandins which are responsible for these pains.  It has also been known to help with motor co-ordination, alcohol clearance and stimulates the liver to break down the alcohol.</p>
