Smashing Pumpkin Recipe

flaming-pumpkinHere is how you make a smashing pumpkin.  Since its that season for pumpkins we thought this would be a great alcoholic drink to make!

1/3 oz Kahlua® coffee liqueur-  Kahlua is a rich, dark brown coffee liqueur made from the finest Mexican coffee, with fine cane spirits and a hint of vanilla. It also contains sugar, corn syrup and vodka, and has a thicker body than most other alcoholic beverages.  Kahlua is the 2nd largest single liqueur brand worldwide. Although it wasn’t introduced to America until 1962, it’s history dates to pre-WWII.

1/3 oz Bailey’s® Irish cream-  Bailey’s Irish Cream is a unique irish spirit made from a mix of cream, sugar, cocoa and the finest irish spirits. Each bottle of Bailey’s is 50% fresh cream, combined with triple distilled Irish Whiskey. It contains no additives or preservatives, and has become the best known irish cream in the world since it’s initiation in 1974.

1/3 oz Goldschlager® cinnamon schnapps-  A clear swiss cinnamon schnapps, containing 24 carrot gold leaf flakes.

TIP:  Add a dash of everclear, bacardi 151, or any other flammable alcohol and ignite to create the flaming smashing pumpkin shot – it helps the shot taste a bit more like hot pumpkin pie. It also looks impressive for parties or at the bar. Don’t forget your Zaca!
